My best story(ies) of this year: Definitely Long Way Home and I think it’s because it’s in English and I can read dialogues. I also like A noce są długie i duszne. This fic is about Sam but it’s about Dean too and for me it’s about him even more. Besides, come on, almost 4000 words in one day. It doesn’t sound like me. And Pęknięte szkło. It was hard to write but I kind of like way it went.
My favorite story of this year: Long Way Home and it isn’t
Most fun story to write: O jednego pacjenta za dużo, Broakbackowska masakra nożycami do strzyżenia owiec, Puzzle and Kaprys.
My worst story(ies) of this year: Well, Krew na perłach. I’ll never try to write porn in Polish again. I also don’t like Świtezianka very much and Ogień czy źródło ognia.
Sexiest story: Kawa z cynamonem.
Story with the single sexiest moment: Well, I’m not sure but I think it may be Kaprys. But Kawa z cynamonem is right behind it.
Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: Definitely A piekło jest tuż za rogiem. I really didn’t want to write it but I had to. Because if I didn’t I couldn’t write anything else.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: A noce są długie i duszne, I guess. When I was thinking about the prompt I saw Dean and I wanted to write it about Dean and in Dean’s point of view. And I have the story about Sam in Stanford. About his all four years in Stanford. And I think it was Dean who didn’t want to be written and it was Sam who wanted to. So, it’s their fault.
In the other hand, I have Kawa z cynamomen. I wanted to write some Stella/Adam fic but Stella didn’t want this pairing. So, this femmeslash is totally her fault.
Hardest story to write: Bo piekło jest tuż za rogiem and Pęknięte szkło. I started to write those stores so many times I can’t even count.
Biggest Disappointment: Bo piekło jest tuż za rogiem. I thought about this fic for months, I couldn’t write anything else. And it still isn’t like I wanted to.
Biggest Surprise: Long way home. Come on, me writing in English? Huh? Still can’t believe that.
Most Unintentionally Telling Story: A noce są długie i duszne. I think I may find one or two things in this I actually wanted to write. Maybe.
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted? It’s hard to say. I think it’s more fic than I thought I could write but the most of them I wrote on ficathons. Anyway, I think it’s more.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2007?: Well, first of all, Batman and Bruce/Gordon. Come on, I never liked Batman before. And when I watched The Dark Knight I shipped Harvey/Bruce. For… well, two weeks maybe? I totally blame
I also haven’t predicted the most of fandoms I actually wrote in. I mean, I didn’t know CSI: New York, Battlestar Galactica, Dark Angel, Buffy… But I kind of like that I can write in these all fandoms. It makes everything more interesting.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?: Well, I think it’s writing in English. I really don’t trust my English and my English isn’t good. And I’m still scared when I’m using it. But what I did learn writing in English it’s that I actually can write dialogues and they don’t sound unnatural for me.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?: For now I have only one plan. Finish Long way home. But there will be ficathons. And I still have a wishlist. Oh, and maybe more Bruce/Gordon fic.
